Unpan Oyate is a Lakota star constellation. This constellation is shaped like the antlers of an elk. The elk is viewed as an especially strong and powerful animal. When it is threatened, it climbs higher and faster than the mountain lion and is capable of great endurance. The main quality of the elk is its capability of gathering all of its strength in a single moment. Unpan Oyate says you are ready to make a leap.
