Innocence

The Stone People carry with them the power of Inyan, the First Being:the power of ignorance and innocence. The stones, little pieces of Inyan, can transfer this power to the people who enter a sweat lodge. When you live in perfect innocence and have a clear conscience, the things you encounter won’t affect you so much. For instance, should someone call you a liar, this will only affect you if you have indeed lied about something. Have you not, then it will be easier for you to shrug and move on. This kind of innocence some people find disarming, and some confrontational. Disarming when people are willing to acknowledge the reflection you give them, or confrontational when the other is not willing to do that. Whatever reaction you receive, if you are sincere in your innocence, you yourself will be able to respond with humour and understanding.
