Ambition

Wazi was a wise old man who dreamed of becoming a god. This moved him to live his life in a dignified manner: he was wise, peaceful and friendly. However, his ambition of becoming a god tempted him to aid Gnaskinyan, the Evil Genius, in his plan to embarrass the gods. Gnaskinyan promised Wazi to make him a god in return of helping him. Wazi acceded and became a god, but Skan, the Almighty, banished him to the edge of the Earth. His time to wield a god’s powers on Earth had not yet arrived. He was made to wait until his grandsons, Tatetob, had established the cardinal directions. Only after this had happened was Wazi allowed to return to Earth and exercise his power there.Wazi teaches us to look at ourselves objectively to see if we are ready for the ambitions we cherish. What do you have yet to learn before you will possess the qualities required to fulfil your ambition?
